DIRECT LINE

God spoke to me today...The truth is God is always communicating with me. He listens to me, he hears my prayers and he answers me. He knows what is in my heart. His power is incomprehensible. All he needs me to do is be tuned in to that conversation so that I can see his works and hear his voice. I have found that connection to him through a commitment to daily prayer. There was a time when I did not focus on my prayer life and Direct Line helped to bring me back into that focus. The wonderful caring volunteers really seek to help others experience the gifts from God that come through prayer. I go just as I am and encounter people who open their arms to pray for me and with me and much like Jesus, without judgment. I would strongly encourage anybody who wants to let God know their heart to contact Direct Line. They listen. They pray. And because of it my life has changed completely...Jessica Evjen Kaiser


September 2009 was a miraculous, amazing, and awakening month for me. I have lived and struggled with some of the affects of being diabetic for 27 years. Damage to my eyesight has been the most frightening.

My brother had heard testimony from a friend that he had a miraculous healing of a severe eye problem that was causing him to go blind. It turned out that the people who prayed over his friend were actually mutual friends. My brother convinced me to go with him and have them pray for my healing too. At first I was very skeptical, and thought how can I be healed by prayer? I then thought I have nothing to lose! As I was being prayed over I felt such a sense of calmness and serenity. Years of anziety, fear, and anger were being lifted...At one point I could feel my toes moving and laying flat. I could feel my calf muscle contracting. The amazing thing about this was because I have nerve damage in one leg, my toes had atrophied some, and I was not able to contract the calf muscle for years. The most miraculous thing happened when I opened my eyes. They were BETTER!!!! I didn't have perfect vision, but the clarity of my vision was definitely improved. Upon diagnosis, my vision in the most troubled eye had improved from 20/100 to 20/40!!! I now pray on the expectaion of continued healing, and know I will heal, as I help others.

I have been on an amazing journey since September getting to know God again, reading his Word, and trusting in Him. I have gained a most important strength from this journey (which at times has been challenging), FAITH.
